In 2016, AAI had signed an agreement with the Department of Airports, Thailand and  Airports of Thailand PLC. in the establishment of an aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility, utilizing. The RCAF land adjacent to Don Mueang Airport, Nakhon Ratchasima Airport and U-Tapao Airport.
